A photo walk will be held as part of the educational program of the Tbilisi Public Art Fund, led by documentary photographer Natela Grigalashvili.
This is not a classic workshop for photographing “interesting places”. The main focus of the event is the city as a living organism, with people, everyday scenes and small details that often go unnoticed.
While moving through different spaces of Tbilisi, the emphasis will be on observation: capturing the moment, noticing natural situations and transforming them into a photograph. Instead of technical parameters, the main attention will be paid to the “documentary vision” - how we perceive the environment and how we choose the shot.
During the walk, participants will have the opportunity to receive direct feedback, ask questions and try to work in a real environment, where photography always involves certain difficulties: movement, interaction with people, unforeseen situations.
The program is intended for those who are interested in photography and want to better understand how to work in the city by observing everyday life and creating a visual history from it.
