Tbilisi Public Art Fund is pleased to present a lecture by artists Ina Charkviani and Lia Arabidze, ‘Women in Sculpure.’
What role do monuments play in our daily lives, and how do they shape our experiences? Ina Charkviani and Lia Arabidze will discuss encounters with sculptures of women in Tbilisi’s public spaces. They will explore how we come across these monuments during our everyday movements and what emotional and visual experiences they offer. With audience participation, they will aim to examine these questions through a discussion format.
Lia and Ina are also co-founders of the Family and Care Workers’ Union.
Admission is free
